Texas Mutual invites attendees to be a force for good

As the state’s leading provider of workers’ compensation insurance, Texas Mutual’s purpose is to be a stable force for good. We believe that our strong position in the market gives us the force to do good—for our customers, employees and communities across Texas. As a sponsor and an exhibitor at this year’s Texas Conference for Women in Austin, we were proud to share our purpose with attendees and remind them that they have the power to be a force for good in their own life and in our communities because we know we’re stronger when we work together.

Over 100 Texas Mutual employees joined attendees at the conference on November 16 to listen to inspiring keynote speakers, network with peers, attend breakout sessions and hear from our very own President and CEO Jeanette Ward.

During the breakout sessions, attendees had the opportunity to learn about topics including career advancement, personal finance and health and wellness. One of the breakout sessions, Creating Workplaces that Work for Everyone, featured Jeanette Ward alongside two other leaders discussing how organizations can create inclusive environments and sustainable cultures.

As an exhibitor at the conference, we designed our booth around our purpose statement of being a stable force for good. We invited attendees to stop by and make a bracelet for themselves, a woman in their life or pay it forward by leaving it for another woman at the event.

Earlier this year, we unveiled our corporate citizenship strategy (4.3 MB PDF) and our commitment areas for creating a stronger, safer and more resilient Texas. Together with our community partners across the state, we’re showing up for those who rely on us each and every day.
